Have you heard of Timbre Mobile?
It's a great initiative from the Timbre group that already has 3 great (fixed) locations at The Substation, Old School and at The Arts House … except that this fourth location is, well, Mobile!
On March 28 they will be organizing a special post festival club gig for the multi-platinum selling band from New Zealand, Opshop … and Corinne Gibbons will be opening up for them. More details to come soon.
One thing that we do know though is the location :-)
Currently Timbre Mobile is located at East Coast Park in a space formerly known as Parkland Gold Driving Range (beside car park C1) and will remain there till June 2010. After that … well, the group is working very closely with the National Parks Board for it's next 4 month pit stop. Stay tuned for their new location!
