Another year is over. And actually, so is the decade! As is customary at this time of the year, one tends to ponder about the year that was. And for me ... this has been a milestone year.
In 2009 I ...
- released my latest album MELT, a vision shared with my producer Stu Hunter and cinematographer Toni Houston. I'm really thrilled to be sharing MELT with you all ... keep you posted on tours for 2010.
- performed MELT shows: concerts at the DBS Arts Centre and Golden Village Cinemas, ...
- sang at festivals all around the world: Stonehenge Summer Solstice Festival, the Phuket International Blues Rock Festival and the IndoChine Green Festival in Singapore, to name a few
- countless interviews in Singapore and abroad for press, radio and TV. Check out the press clippings
- Club Acoustica: has had a brilliant run in 2009 and we've got some amazing shows in plan for 2010. I just love these nights!
- song writing: creatively I've been having a wonderful time writing for Jungle Book and Bear & Chicken (children's musicals for Singapore Repertory Theatre) and a new song about Singapore titled 'Small on the Outside'
- performed at many spectacular corporate events, including ASAE in Toronto, the Asian Festival of 1st Films in Singapore and many more
- conducted successful team-building events with Singapore Sing ... yes we create corporate choirs!
- dedicated my time to charity events such as Fighting Poverty Through Education, Peace of Art (for IUCN) and Lupus Foundation
As the decade comes to a close, a very new and exciting chapter is opening up in 2010. To many more wonderful adventures, laughs, collaborations ... let's keep spreading the love.
