After I don't know how many years at Kim Yam Road, John and his wonderful team have moved to a new location at Dempsey Hill ... Block 6. What's great about the location is it's more peripheral to the main strip of barracks. Thus it's private, edging onto the jungle ... and given the design of the barracks, gives him a more contemporary look. The furniture store is open, the John Erdos Gallery is open right next door ... and soon to come ... he promised me before Xmas ... a big surprise and an expansion of his empire :-)
Now ... my only concern were his fishies from Kim Yam Road. Like before, there is a fish pond which you walk over on giant slabs of stone ... however, the fish swimming below are all new. None of the regulars that I so grew accustomed too. Again ... he promised they will be moving soon once the water is ready - not sure what that means! But I will be checking that they make it to their new home ...
